Evocation OF Light

supported by
Ronnie Lacey

Ronnie Lacey Melodic black metal with hints of thrash and tech. Solid release. Favorite track: Between Shadows And Souls.
Robin
Robin thumbnail
Robin Amazing melodic black metal album that draws inspiration from Dissection and Thulcandra. It has more thrash-oriented riffs compared to a lot of melodic black metal bands and also incorporates quite a few acoustic riffs.
Production of the re-record is stellar and the artwork sets the mood just right. Favorite track: Inner Black Flame.

nofatclips 2nd listen: Can't really find the exact reason why I got back to this record. When I think I've solved its mistery, it turns out to be completely different from my idea of it!

1st listen: hits the sweet spot between atmosphere and pure aggression. Kind of like Arch Enemy for (kind of) grown ups. Favorite track: Negative Theology.
Ben B
Ben B thumbnail
Ben B It’s hard to pick a specific reason why this album is so good. I get early inFlames vibes from it but at the same time it’s nothing like that. Very original but familiar at the same time. Production is great, instruments are clear and crisp. Drummer kicks ass. Favorite track: Evocation Of Light.
